Former Elizabeth II Helen Mirren dons the imperial robes of Russia's longest-serving female monarch for Sky Atlantic's new drama, airing this autumn.
Written by Nigel Williams and co-starring Gina McKee, Rory Kinnear, and Jason Clarke, this charts Catherine's relationship with Grigory Potemkin (Clarke) during a period of Russian imperial expansion, achieved both on and off battlefields.
